As an IT Managed Services Provider, Lighthouse IT runs the technology for many businesses in the area.
We plan IT budgets, implement new technology to benefit our clients, monitor and maintain client systems to ensure uptime, and help our clients use the technology running their businesses.
As a Help Desk Technician, you would:
Provide phenomenal customer service to our clients Answer incoming phone calls and emails from people who need technical help, and either assist them directly or work with our team to move the issue to someone else who can help Perform basic troubleshooting steps for technical issues our clients are facing and escalate issues to your teammates as appropriate Fulfill change requests from our clients according to our documented processes Travel to (mostly local) client offices to assist with on-site support when necessary Work in our ticketing system to respond to client issues, document your time and effort, and meet performance objectives - including productivity and customer satisfaction Communicate with clients over the phone, email, and chat applications Update and maintain client documentation to benefit our clients and team Technical Requirements:
Ability to recognize and describe basic computer components Ability to give verbal instructions to assist non-technical people with basic Microsoft Windows navigation Expertise with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and commonly used PC applications Excellent oral and written communication 30

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
