General
Responsibilities:
Verifies billing rate accuracy, markups and any rate increases.
Maintains billing schedule.
Troubleshoots invoicing and systems issues.
Partners with other departments regarding billing and invoicing inquires.
Prepares customer account reconciliations.
Assists with Payroll.
Assists with accounts receivable activities.
Assists with journal entries at month-end.
Assists Controller with any special projects.
Qualifications:
Some college, 4
years' administrative experience; 2
years' billing and general accounting experience; intermediate skills in MS Office; working knowledge of accounting ERP systems; possess good time management and prioritization skills; must have good customer service and follow-up skills; be able to work in a fast-paced office environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
