Duties include process warrant documents; process issued parking citations; post payments for fines and fees received; and create monitor reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Compiles, types, records and files a wide variety of court records, reports and materials, including citations, summons, warrants and probable cause affidavits Advises, defendant, public, and of the procedures in Municipal Court Provides customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to inquiries and complaints Imports ticket data, proof reports and processes traffic and parking citations Accepts, receives, collects payments, and maintains balanced cash drawer Creates reports to process case file notices, extensions, reminders, show-cause hearings, payment plans, and convictions Checks scheduled pre-trial hearing dates and assists with court docket to prevent overload, issues jury summons, monitors jurors, schedule cases for hearings Maintains accurate records; annotates case files and status records Processes paperwork payments in full, credit for time served requests Processes data to report delinquent cases, maintains delinquent case file, removes case flag in system when cleared Perform background checks for authorized personal Attends seminars to continue education Prepares and processes departmental purchase orders and maintains procurement cards and reconciles purchases Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Two years of experience in a comparable office environment Preferred Qualifications Municipal court or legal office experience Cash handling experience Bilingual in English in Spanish Thank you for your interest in the position.
