Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.
Schedule:
Full Time - 36 hours per week Mid Shift 3p-3a or nights 7p-7a Unit Summary Busy ER in level One Trauma Hospital -Certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center Our Registered Nurse (RN) staff are proficient in Stroke and STEMI activations and established care guidelines This is a fast-paced ER environment whose success is dependent on teamwork.
We have 50 exam rooms and 6 trauma bays RNs work closely with ED Providers, Social Workers, Registration, etc.
because we are truly in it together! The Emergency department primarily cares for adult populations, but we do care for pediatric patients as needed.
Registered Nurses (RN) can be involved in Improvement projects, Shared Governance, department committees and councils.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program MAJOR - Nursing CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS):
BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
1 Year of RN experience required Highly prefer 2 or more years of experience in the ER.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
