Schedule will include evenings, weekends and holidays based on departmental needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists the public, volunteers, customers, vendors, and internal staff with athletics programs Manages data in city software systems such as RecTrac/WebTrac, OpenGov, and Dayforce Creates reports, generates invoices and prepares for meetings Understands process for schedules, tournaments, league play and assists with related questions Schedules indoor/outdoor athletic spaces for practices, games, and tournaments to include fields, gymnasiums, and tennis courts Completes program registrations and responds to adult and youth sports league inquiries Handles reservations, fees, and charges for rentals, leagues, recreation classes and special events Assists with planning and implementation of programs and activities to ensure cooperative use of recreation facilities Follows basic cash handling procedures, prepares cash reports, and delivers daily deposits as needed Performs general office tasks such as copying, mailing, faxing, and shredding Ensures communications sent via mail, fax, or phone is distributed in a timely manner Follows city policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree in Parks and Recreation Administration, Physical Education, or related field Four (4) years of experience managing athletic programs or related area Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of experience working with athletic programs Experience working in or with a governmental agency Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Drivers License Obtain CPR certification within 6 months of hire Thank you for your interest in the position.
