Overview The Assistant Property Manager position is responsible for assisting the District Property Manager in the day-to-day management of our portfolio of rental properties including; tenant relations, maintenance & repairs scheduling, and posting payments.
The Assistant Property Manager responds to tenant requests in accordance with the lease agreement and assuring compliance with all provisions.
Skills Skills and characteristics necessary for job success include exceptional communication and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and work under pressure; excellent time management skills; detail-oriented; self-motivated and ability to self-direct.
Specific Duties include but not limited to Assist in initiating contracts and administering all necessary services to maintain the property Respond and assist to resolve tenant requests/problems positively and promptly Assist in preparing and issuing monthly rent statements Draft correspondence as necessary to administer lease provisions including all notices, defaults Post cash receipts into company accounting software Maintain high occupancy rate.
