Night Shift only - (4:00 p.m. -3:30 p.m.) Monday through Thursday with so overtime on Fridays
CNC MACHINIST WILL SET-UP CNC MACHINE TO MAKE OR MODIFY METAL PARTS WHICH HAVE ALREADY BEEN PROGRAMMED TO A SET OF SPECIFICATIONS, OR TOLERANCES TO CUT AWAY EXCESS MATERIAL TO FORM THE PART. THE GOAL OF THESE CUTTING OPERATIONS IS TO PRODUCE A PART THAT CONFORMS,TO THE BLUEPRINT WHICH SPECIFIES WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS.
CNC MACHINIST - ABILITY TO:
Read prints, drawings, and specifications and apply knowledge to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts and set up requirements.
Set up and operate the machine on trial runs to verify the accuracy of settings and programmed control data.
Set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle.
To add, subtract, multiply, divide, apply concepts of Algebra and Geometry.
To be punctual
To work in group situations.
To use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
