Supervisory Dietitian, Site Manager, GS-0630-13

The Site Manager, Nutrition and Food Services (NFS) serves as a Supervisory Dietitian and consultant with primary responsibility for management support of food production for CTVHCS (Central production facility for Temple & Waco campuses) and food service at the Temple facility.
CTVHCS is an affiliated, tertiary, complexity level 1, multi-facility health care system consisting of facilities located at Temple and Waco, a large outpatient clinic in Austin, and Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Brownwood, Cedar Park, College Station, and Palestine.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
o Works in cooperation with the Chief in the identification of major management initiatives to assure high quality foods are served to the Veteran population.
o Shares the technical, professional and administrative responsibility with the Chief for planning, developing, organizing, staffing, implementing, and evaluating a functionally comprehensive advanced Food Service program.
o Develops financial goals, manages aspects of the budget, organizes and/or maintains a cost accounting system to forecast expenditures and provides estimates for planning and adjustments as program and resources change.
o Supports hospital mission and coordinates departmental activities with other services in the medical center, ambulatory clinics and the local community.
o Ensures compliance with internal and external regulatory authorities.
FIRST-TIME SUPERVISORS MUST SERVE A ONE-YEAR PROBATIONARY PERIOD.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
