Supervisory Health Technician (Ophthalmology)
DESIGNATED DRUG-TESTING POSITION:
Applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.
Applicants will not be appointed to the position if a verified positive drug test result is received.
This position is in the Surgery Service Line, Eye Clinic of the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System located in Temple, TX.
The Supervisory Health Technician (Ophthalmology) will be responsible for providing photographic and film/digital image processing support for patients undergoing diagnostic and/or treatment procedures in the Eye Clinic and for providing administrative leadership and coordination in the development, implementation, evaluation, training and operations for the eye clinic health tech programs.
